Hi all,

Recieved this from some guy who joined today..

Please keep your negative responses to yourself, a 17 year old from the UK has no business declaring who is and who isn't a spammer, at least wait until you get some hair on your balls!!

Needless to say, behaviour like this is unacceptable and I think some action should be taken.

Ah well, suppose he's just having a midlife crisis...

Did you report this to a moderator? Without some context, this is too vague. Please PM us so that we limit the flaming on the boards (although I know that some people here enjoy them).

If it is a PM then ignore it. If it is a post to thread report it. I belive there is also an ignore user option. Not much we can do if it is in PM form unless they are spamming your PM box. Then Joe or pH would have to step in.

Oops probably should have explained more.

He posted in a 4 year old thread, he is a new member aka yesterday and is just trying to get post count up. So I called him a spammer and that was his reply. Most boards have a 2 month rule where no posts are allowed into threads over that limit.

Anyways pretty unacceptable behaviour, clearly just here to piss about and stir up trouble.

Actually hes just trying to sell his extreme, rad, L$$T 16.99 per oz, special brand of water. I got a personal PM too that was a little more to the point with only 5 words and an exclamation point.

Just put him on ignore, Im sure he will move on to greener pastures when he figures out he has been punked. Either that or he can stick around and toughen up that hide.

I'm really close to banning him. If he insists on being rude and telling half truths, then I'd ban him.

I read the thread in question, btw. BigBen2k did the right thing I think, although I'd do more of calling him wrong.

I've been purposely staying out of this, to see how it'd develop.

Unreal; sorry that you're having to go through this. Rest assured that we'll keep a close eye on this new member (consider this your warning; you know who you are). I'll let Brian make the call on banning, but in the mean time, feel free to use the "ignore" feature.

So far, I haven't seen him post anything that most of us wouldn't be able to correct him on... :p

Well, if he insists on posting more shady info that just benefits his own product... ban him. As it stands, I'll be watching just as Ben will.

Keep us posted if he harrasses you.
