I'm not making a lot of progress on my HTPC recently, so nothing is posted yet. I have been using it a little though.

MCE is a great experience, really! Having the ability to skip commercials and watch TV at a time of my convenience is just great. For instance, I happen to like the Food Network quite a bit, but watching Alton Brown at 7pm is really difficult. I get home at about 6pm and need to get the kids motivated to clean up their mess, get homework done, then I need to cook dinner, spend some time with everyone, get everyone ready for bed (pajamas, teeth brushing, bedtime stories, etc...) and there just isn't time in there for watching TV. BUT! If I use a DVR, I can watch Mr. Brown at 9:30pm when everyone is settled down into bed and spend just 22min at it! Plus, my wife can watch her Little House on the Prairie episodes without commercials or she can select one of the ripped movies we have for the kids. No more fingerprints on the DVDs. We just use the remote and push play. Wonderful! I just rip those movies to disk and then put the disks safely into the closet where they don't get fingerprints, footprints and peanut butter on them.

For something with more meat, though, I just came across this at another decent site (SPCR (http://www.silentpcreview.com/)) that I wish we had gotten. Intel is starting to respond to the community of cooling and quiet here (http://www.silentpcreview.com/files/misc/AcousticOpt_WP.pdf).
