Help - DD Maze aren't glued everywhere!!

I have a DD maze 2 (not the pelt block) and it aren't glued everywhere.

As you se there is places where the block is missing the white stuff.

Is this normal?
What should I use instead of the white glue?
Maybee Epoxy?

I believe the two sides are soldered together. More solder or epoxy should work OK, I would suggest emailing DangerDen for suggestions... they will know exactly what to use

What white stuff are you talking about? From the picture, the arrow is pointing to where the block is soldered together, that should be a very thin line of silver. If you put a finger on one barb and blow in the other, does air leak out? If not, hook it up to a pump and let it run for a while on top of a piece of newspaper. If the paper is wet after awhile it leaks :D

DD rarely has leaking blocks. I'm sure it's good. Test it out.

I agree, the quality control at Dangerden is top knotch. I would try it out outside your PC. If it does leak send them an E-mail and I'm sure they will bend over backwards to replace the block and ensure your satisfaction with their product simply 'cause they're good like that.

not to mention the 1000psi guarentee. I'm sure if it leaks at all up to 1000psi, they'll fix the issue. DD seems to have their act together and have top notch items.

Mine had a similar spot, no problems whatsoever, I believe that the 2 sides are actually sweated together.

Mine has the same spot acutally. Might that be a place where there were plans to have a thermal diode placed there?

Theres no leak, but I wanted to be on the safe side by gluing it.

I e-mailed DD, thay said the block had been tested at 100psi.

Yeah trust me when I say your block won't leak. And if it were a leaker, glue wouldn't stop all that water for long. Just believe us that it is good to go :).
