Need your help in choosing parts for Watercooling

I'm new to this forum. Came here to get a help from pro's in watercooling.
I got Antec 1030 and want to put a watercooling system in there for AthlonXP 1800+.
I'd like it to be inside the case although I saw nice design of Haiden radiator mounted on the top( which is acceptable.
I'd like to have your recomendations regarding every part of the set including radiator, water block, pump, hoses( and their diameter ) clamps etc..
I would really appreciate your input.
Thnx.

Currently I'm thinking of
pump: EHEIM 1250
block: Maze2 or Swiftech
radiator: Hayden from Swiftech( and maybe + one more radiator smaller size from DD $37.5 ). Too bad BlackIce Extreme will not fit in the front of the case... I can fit a little bit over 4" there but not 4.75"
Hoses: silicone 3/8.
Please feel free to critisize me.

If you're only cooling the CPU, a 1250 and 2 rads is overkill. A 1048 and 1 simple rad is more than enough (even with pelts).
Now if you're planning to watercool GPU, NB and maybe HDDs or PSU the 1250 is the right choice. You can buy the 2nd rad later, still.

just the one rad will be enough, but of course two is much more fun, and it looks better ;)

Thnx.
How about block?

I still like the maze2 more than anything else, it's just a nice design, central inlet and all

Yep. Maze2 for its finish, its very good design, its superior retention mechanism and for Danger Den who have the best customer support.

Blade runner was using a Z3 when he ordered up this little baby
here, well read the results but he says 10c temp drop, and very cheap including the shipping to UK from New Zealand. So it should be cheaper getting it to the states.
He is going to post info on getting one soon, if I can't be bothered to make me a new block soon I might order this.

I'd use a heatercore for the rad.

NZ? what did we do? :P

I am placing this rad in my Antec 1040 case. I will using two PanaFlo 120mm 86 CFM fans configured in a push/pull setup. I will have to remove the two front fans and cut the front case so the 120mm fan will bolt to the front. The rad has 1/2" barbs.

The pump I will use is the Eheim 1250.

The W/B is questionable either the Maze2 1/2" or Sp@irl 1/2" if I can get my hands on one.

I may also put a 120mm fan in top case. I was planning on a rad in the top of the case as well, but the rad I received I did not like.

See... In order to fit your radiator in front of the case you have to remove lower cage. I'd like to have that intact.

mount the hdd bays somewhere else maybe, like infront of your pci slots. just use small cards in the lower slots that will be affected, I've seen it done before, it can work quite well

No need to remove the harddrive cages. I was able to place the H/C in the bottom. I did remove the bottom fan/harddrive cage and fans. The plan is to remove all the sheet metal where the two fan cages were and replace the metal with solid sheet metal. I then will cut the metal for a 120mm fan intake. Also I will make a slide style filter tray. Of course everything will be hidden behind the plastic front grille
