Doubt I could stirr up the enthusiasm required to produce a stickybacked template... or the budget at the moment... however, will defintitely do the usual PDF download-&-print-fer-yerselves template as I did with the HE series... then if folks really want it sticky backed they can just go buy some sticky paper for their printer.

I like to force folks to do SOME of the work themselves ;) Encourages them to do their research properly... and also makes em learn from their mistakes... s'how it was when I had to learn about all this stuff :D

There's certainly that side of it - but every new water-cooler who tells his buddies that "it was dead easy" increases the number of potential purchasers. As a hobbyist, I'm perfectly glad to leave things exclusive - but I'm not sure that's the right direction for water cooling as a whole.
On the other hand, make something too big a market and suddenly it's being made in China and sold at Walmart. Pretty sure I don't want that either - so maybe you're more right than I know

PA160s should be available to retail in the UK tomorrow evening... First one thru the door will be getting shipped straight to Cathar... apols for lack of updates, everything has gone a tad chaotic this end and am working flat out to make a hole to catch up on stuff I said I'd do but so far haven't!

Retailing at £54.05 inc VAT in the UK. Whatever that works out to elsewhere is solely dependant on the exchange rate at the moment. Pricedrop has also been put into effect on the HE120.x series rads across the board. 40mm Shrouds for HE series have also been launched to retail today.

Currently only O-CuK have stocks. Other ThermoChill resellers should be receiving stocks within the next week or so. International Distributors may have a slightly longer delay.

It seems like the price should fall between the 120.1 and the 120.2, like $95 here in the US. Still pretty expensive compared to HWlabs products though. $65 would probably be a competitive price against them if they had a similar product and priced it between the BIP and BIP2.

The exchange rate will not help US sales.

I don't suppose you had any luck with sourcing any of that 3/8"ID tubing that Cathar mentioned did you? Or is the 3/8" Tygon as close as we're going to get to it?

Has anyone actually bought one of these yet? I'm going to be revamping my watercooling loop soon with an A64 and was wondering if one of these silent rads would be sufficient for an OC'd A64, 6800GT and NF4 chipset. I'd love to see some pictures of full systems using this rad just for ideas of fitting it.

Lian Li PC-6077, has 5 1/4 bays all the way down the front so I had to cut a little & install with fan pushing through rad, a normal LL case should be fine without cuts though & let you install rad either way round.

We've made a minor modification to the manufacturing process to make the rads slightly easier to mount... on the side opposite to the barbs (where mcmad currently has his shroud) we've added 4x tapped fixing points into the lips of the sidewalls, so that the rad can be attached direct to the case with the shroud on the opposing (side with the barbs on) face. This allows the full core area to be mounted flat against the front of the case (with a simple rectangular opening needed) with shroud on the inside so that cold air can be pulled in thru the front of the case, thru the core, thru the shroud....

Once the first modified batch turns up I'll do a photoshoot of fitting the rad in any LianLi PC6x case, and any other cases I happen to lay my hands on.

If one of those cases happens to be a Lian Li V1100 I'd be most interested if the PA160 would fit in;

1) the front in place of the HDD Racks
2) along the bottom, again in place of the HDD Racks, mounted side on so you could perhaps fit two PA160s.

Along the bottom, literally, would work. IE: Cut 160x160 hole in base of case, mount radiator flat against hole. Shroud on top of radiator, with fan pulling air in thru the base... the wheels of the V series give it enough standoff to allow sufficient airflow.

Sounds ideal.
I'm personally a bit bling-averse, but have you thought of matching grills? Hoiles in the grills match up with the tapped holes in the rad, maybe include spacers and/or "roll" the grill edges a bit to stand the grill off from the rad - center part is whatever bling you think might sell (wonder if there's a way to make it look like an old MG rad - probably would only appeal to old fogies, so maybe not such a great idea...)
