understood
I'm questioning the difference

Probably should be expressed in units of °C/W/cm²
But no mention of the dimensions of die/heat-source is a crime

I was making a fine-pitch #rotor style block with thermocouples embedded in the pins. Ran outa of disposable income before completion, though.

Maybe pooling resources at pH's (pH willing) is the answer.

wow I have been working too much.

My main goal for this is to kind of replicate a setup more acurately. I do not intend to go as nuts as bill nor phaestus in testing. Instead of testing different flow rates, I will do different pumps to make it a little more realistic to normal setups.

I am mainly doing this for my blocks. I might add a few comertial blocks in there for my own comparison, but I will probably just send phaestus my best ones. I mainly intend to find my best design out of my blocks and find the best base plate thickness.

The temp probe is in the back if you look carefully you can see the wires, I ordered the wrong ones and they arent even insulated. Theres another hole in the side that you may see, thats where I broke the #57 drill off at about 1/4" deep, wasnt cool at all.

If you have other questions, let me know, Ill try to remember this thread is here;)
