Wow, I step away for the weekend and find all the traffic. I'd like to thank you for the offer in drawing up the block, UpAllNight; I might have to take you up on that. I'm going to look into playing with CAD for a little bit so I can see what that's like and see just how badly I can mangle the already ugly version I did in MS Paint :) How well does Aluminum work for a waterblock? The ones I usually see online are all Cu, whether homemade or professionally done. I figure if Al is easy to work with and I can find someone that will do the work locally I'll look into having an O-ring groove put in and then make two tops for the block, to try it out both ways ( 1 in - 2 out and 1 in - 1 out) to see if there is any advantage. With Al would you recommend shallower and wide, about 3/8", or deeper and thinner to get more channels? Thanks again for the feedback and thoughts. Who knows how far I'll go with this but I definitely learned one thing.. milling ain't cheap :)
