CycoDude:
Yea parrallel rads would do the trick. Probably the reason why I was asking about another radiator at the very beginning of this thread :) (Just having fun with yea...........) Main problem with lots of rads in parrallel is the space concern. I am NOT doing what one guy on OverClockers.com did! There IS such a thing as OverKill; maybe even EXTREME OverKill!!! Dont get me wrong; what ever he wants to do to get 1 more degree lower, more power to him. Just saying that I dont want a cooling system that takes over my desk AND a full countertop as well! :) Hence the reason why I was looking for a small, thin rad that I coul stick in the system that would assist in keeping my temps down to under 40. |
For those of you who are wondering what the heck I was talking about... here is the link:
http://www.overclockers.com/tips800/ I had a great chuckle at this one. Must say... WONDERFUL piece of work that guy has there. Enjoy! |

good God....

that is so GHETTO!!! LOL!!! not to mention overkill; that could probably be achieved with just 1 pelt, less rads, etc etc...
o well, if youve got all that junk laying around, you may as well use it right?? lol |
thats miss man on these forums. His system is ghetto, but gives good temps
|
i would hope so!! lol
|
Uh, thats REALLY overkill. is was more thinking like fastening 2 Black Ice II onto the motherboard side of case, outside and possibly having some fans on the inside.
or do the same thing on the other side. problem is that then you MUST have some thing that stops the dorr from opening to much.l ike uuuh,... damn i shouldnt have skipepd all those english classes.... (missing a word) you know the "thing" that doors hang on? oh well...... damn im too stupid to hang out here.... |
hmm btw, an Y connection of brass would be perfect for paralell channeling radiators, if you run 3/8 hose, use 5/8 Y-conenctor. preferably u use something like an Eheim 1250 (the big momma of ALL inline pumps).
then we are talking about something like 1000gph through waterblock... or uh that wouldnt go but some 400gph. using a waterblock like this http://www.swoc.dns2go.com/tanka/h2o/vattenblock.jpg http://www.swoc.dns2go.com/tanka/h2o/vattenblock_2.jpg (not finished yet) would certainly do its job of removing heat. and then having 200gph through the rads wouldnt be bad either... right? |
Wow...... I thought that everyone had seen that link before now...
Well glad to have given everyone a good laugh (my roomate almost kiled over backwards when I showed him it :) |
