Melt,

Here is the stuff I used to paint the valves...requires no prep...adheres very well...can be purchased at most auto parts stores for abou $5.00

Hmale, since cost doesn't seem to be an issue at all....

Ever thought of silver for the waterblock? I bet if you paid for the silver itself and paid Fixittt like $100 he'd be willing to make you spir@ls out of it. I'm sure he'd love any excuse to work with silver anyway.

Disclaimer: Of course, Fixxit is a busy man and may not appreciate me mentioning him by name, but it was just a thought that popped into my head.

Note: The idea is just part of my desire to actually see a silver waterblock and how it would perform. :)

Well Fixitt...are you game????

I need 2 blocks for AMD MP's, a nrthbridge block and a video chipset block.

Let's talk!

Nice pump. I've been eyeballing the hydrothruster QV. I like how it has the flow control setup.

So you can actually see the liquid running through the impellers?

hmale 06-27-2002 01:07 AM

Frag,

The hydrothruster is a nice pump. The acrylic housing lets you view the water circulating through the pump heads. The problem with that pump is that the housings must be attached tightly to the pump motor. This leads to the acrylic cracking...alot of maitenance required!

Overall I like the new pump I got...quieter...more powerful...smaller footprint

Thanks!
