Yeah, it's it seems really cool over here. Just about everyone of the authorities from the [H] seems to be over here. I like the fact no post count is displayed, makes you listen more to the advise than the # of posts. Good to see everyone over here.

I didn't want to start a new thread so here's a picture of my heatercore with dual 120mm Delta fans. They're rated at 130cfm :D

sad, that's quite a bit of airflow and quite a bit of noise!!!

Dude that will work sweet.

dantheman 10-25-2001 08:44 AM

Will putting that much air flow through your rad really help? Or will temps just go down a little bit. I have a single 120 mm on my rad, pulling air from the inside of my case, and it is cold comeing out.

WaterPog 10-25-2001 09:28 AM

those are the same fans that I have, $1 ea is a very good price :D

As for noise, yes they are LOUD at 12V. not 7000rpm 60mm loud but still pretty loud, I run mine at 5V and still get great air flow through the radiator, even when gaming. to run things like Prime95 or Toast I bump them up to 12V (via switched relay) to help dump the heat.

sad 10-25-2001 06:39 PM

WaterPog, 1 dollar? Wow..where?

Anyway, I'm sure they will be loud, I haven't hooked them up yet. I do plan to run them@7V the majority of the time. I haven't decided how I'd mount the fans. I'd probably go the lazy route and buy a shroud from Liquidcool.org.----Whenever they become available.

WaterPog 10-26-2001 11:15 AM

I got them from Roger's System Specialist they were running a special a while back where they were $1/ea. in lots of 20 or more...I ordered 20 of them and got them for $24 including shipping then sold most of them to friends/co-workers for $5/ea and made a few bucks.
