hmmm although at the end of my block it would start to cut more channels due to the diameter of the blade....

As I mentioned I have blades of: 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.5mm thickness.

where did you get your blades from (and the part that holds them)

A place called EMCO.

The arbor's are home made, and all being refined with each new one.

they are in NSW i emailed them an enquiery about where i can find thoose blades and arbors in brisbane

Pippin,

that is a really nice design. Very much like one I designed for the upcoming hammer, though I have fins going all the way to edge of the triangular "plenum" chambers. I giess you could call them that.

Might ditch it though as I think I've come up with something new and exciting!!!

could you actually use a slitting saw on a Drill press?

I though that You weren't supposed to use horizontal pressure on the bit?

You can, but its not good for the drill press.

I'm using a mill with a drill chuck for this.

Ok, had a chance to play again.
