Ahh!, I missed that bit. Last question: Did you drill the hole that mounts the VR~block?, the one opposite the mounting bracket one. Or was it already there?. Very nice little block BTW...

bladerunner, that's just beautiful. excellent work.

out of curiousity, how much more could you overclock the 9800 pro memory (w/o artifacts) with that waterblock on.?

Tempus 08-27-2003 08:58 AM

That is a kick ass block. Now, you just need to sell the design and get some green so the rest of us can buy one.

Seriously, thats one of the best looking things I've seen in a while.

Orkan 10-06-2003 03:58 PM

wow.

I know I would buy one.

Hate to revive an old thread, but would you comment on this bladerunner (or anyone else with WCed vidcard memory)?

I know the traditional thought is just use a Silverprop Fusion if you want to the lowest temps on your vidcard, and working on the memory additionally would be essentially superfluous. But I' thinking this may change with the GDDR3 in todays world.

Thanks,
DrCR

It has been some time since bladerunner has shown his face, I am unaware why he dissappeared, but he does still lurk from time to time.

I think one of the ideas of GDDR3 was that it ran cooler. Though I could be mistaken.
