If your fans are sucking air through the rad then you need to measure the air just above the rad. One inch above center of the rad should be good. It's best to use the same sensor for measuring both water and intake air when possible because it eliminates any variation between different sensors. I was assuming you were using a different sensor for measuring ambient temp

The cascade likes being 1st after the pump, being a 'jet impingement' design.
Speaking of that, your setup has like a potential case airflow problem. I assume your case fans are all set to exhaust, such that air flow will be the opposite of heat convection in the case.

It is not the Cascade. It is only the custom made waterblock. In fact, as the side panel is opened, will this potential airflow problem cause so much high idle temp but small Delta T? |

It says 'cascade waterblock' in your sig.
If you leave the case side cover off, it's probably not an issue.

That is the reason I disable the signature function here and post the config on my 1st post. My friend has just finished this custom made WB and ask me to test it (very casual one). :) |

it doesn't seem to have worked - your sig is visible to me.... are you sure you haven't disabled other people's sigs? |
