When I was in the store I managed to find one... but only one, so I went with the 1/2 tube to 3/8 NPT since they actually a few in stock.

At my branch, they are in an assortment in drawers near the coil tubing...

Thats an extremely common fitting. Shouldn't cost over 50 cents at any hardwarestore.
