I currently use a swiftech mcw50. fits like a glove on my 9700 pro. With the stock ATI hsf, i was only able to hit around 350 core. With the wateblock I have currently have it running at 385 and temps (read from gpu core backside) are in the high 30c's. I have also used this same block on a GF4 ti 4200 (asylum and leadtek). The swifty has two sets of mounting holes for the radeon and geforce's. The base is also designed so that it will fit inside the 9700 pro's shim around the core. Fittings give clearance for ramsinks as well without the need for 45degree barbs. Also if you're using 1/2"ID tubing, don't waste the $5 on the swiftech barbs. just go out to homedepot and get some stiff 1/2"OD plastic tubing cut them to about 2" and slide it in the block (the lock mechanism will hold these in without leaking, and then slide the 1/2" tubing on the otherside and use a worm clamp.

thanks for the reply but (luckily?) cooltech wanted to be nice and upgraded me to the maze4 gpu block since they didn't have any more swiftys in stock. hopefully i can finally get this watercooled setup by the end of this or next week -- dtek says they finally got the right parts for the WW and will start shipping to resellers (ie: cooltech) monday.

bruce was able to get in contact with danger den and says the maze4 gpu block should fit the gf4. i'll find out when it gets here along w/ the WW :drool:

just as an update, the maze4 gpu block fit perfectly in the 2 larger outer holes in the Assylum GeForce 4 Ti4200 128MB card.

I picked up a MCW372-v2 CPU block at fry,s for $20 and made a little plexie mount for it for my gf 4 ti 4600 and so far its been working great :)

You people who are saying "15watts" and "low heat load" are living in the past.

GPUs put out a lot of heat now. 50-70 watts is more like it, for top end R3xx and NV3x.

I know :) In Poland Blocks are cheaper then in EU and the USA. For example this block costs ~40$.

Anyone who knows the heat dissipation of the GF4 ti4200?
I´ve done some googling, but can´t find the info.
I´m using a home made WB with dimpled baseplate, quite much like old Swiftech blocks, and the back of my video card feels pretty hot.
Maybe it´s just me being a sissy, but I think it gets painfully hot if I keep my finger at the card.

I've read on tecchannel.de that Gf4 ti4600 in 3d mark produces approximetli 40W, R9700 pro 55W and Fx5800 Ultra 75W.

IM probally gonna get a mc50-t it's gonna be good from what i've heard because of the pelt only like an 8 degree differnece inw ater temps too.

Ive voted for jaron, im about to install an 2x Jaron ESKY one 90o(gpu) and one normal (chipset) as they were cheap ($66 Aussie each) and are all copper but downside is that its 3/8 :( i overcame this by making everything 3/8

and just to note, the simple PixelIce GPU Block is enough to run an 80watt pelt off if anyone was interested.
