This argument has been resolved to many times to be disscused again and again. Lets move FORWARD with this subject not back track over and over again. There is a reason Joe doesn't want "leet" kiddies coming here and this is the reason. Going backwards is not going forwards. The guy is just looking for a flame war, if not he needs to STFU and do some research before posting ignorant BS and claiming to know all and dis senior members here. Sorry I don't have the love you do for ignorance spreading and the will to dumb the forum down. Everytime this is brought up we go backwards. It is why some of us get a little edgy everytime it is brought up. AND furthermore this is the WATERBLOCK design and construction forum. Lets talk about WATERBLOCK design and construction here eh? Only relevance this thread has about using AL is in AIR cooling applications. We should know by now and it shouldn't have to be said, but Copper IS better to use for water blocks.

I posted the links above for a reason. Lets shut up and move forward, or take this discussion to a more relevant section of the forum.

From www.dictionary.com

"mass

6. Abbr. m Physics. A property of matter equal to the measure of an object's resistance to changes in either the speed or direction of its motion. The mass of an object is not dependent on gravity and therefore is different from but proportional to its weight."

I would have the same mass if I was on the moon, as I do on earth. I would have a different weight though.

And this just adds to what I am talking about. Why should you have to look up Mass for someone with almost a 1,000 posts here. Do people just not want to look for answers to their own questions and insist others do the work for them?

All right, I will give up now. My last post in this thread.....

I think it goes:

'My ambient temperature is 22C and my CPU temperature with my phenomenal watercooling setup is 23C. The CPU temperature is measured with the on-die diode, so it must be right. Because this CPU wattage calculator I found on the web tells me that my CPU dissipates 1KW of power at my overclock, the C/W for my water cooling system is 0.001. Since I know that the C/W for my radiator is 0.05, the C/W for my waterblock must be -0.004.

My waterblock is obviously the best in the world.'
