BillA 07-12-2004 12:57 PM

and the effect of temp on viscosity ?

pHaestus 07-12-2004 01:06 PM

I don't really know how to account for that with transparent gifs, sir

Groth 07-12-2004 01:08 PM

'Twas merely cosmetic.

BillA 07-12-2004 01:11 PM

if I buy a banner ad, can I get a 1/4" offset ?

pHaestus 07-12-2004 01:13 PM

WTF you want ANOTHER one?

BalefireX 07-12-2004 01:28 PM

BillA - paypal rec'd, thx

Groth - please replace wb11.gif with attached gif - seems that I got confused with my metric conversions

:p

Edited to halt the possible spread of misinformation

pHaestus 07-12-2004 01:30 PM

Groth 07-12-2004 01:35 PM

Paypal !? I'll I got was some @#$% store credits!

:D

BillA 07-12-2004 01:37 PM

ah, but which store ?
look for the Mustang Ranch coupons

BalefireX
love the graph, but you might want to kill it before it gets copied and distributed

BalefireX 07-12-2004 01:48 PM

Sigh, it appears that we're going to have to start over again... after some hurried negotation, it seems that the only block with a deltaT over 6*°C, and therefore fitting on the current graph, is Jaydee's Lumpy Channel (subject to change if I can find a contact number)

pHaestus 07-12-2004 01:50 PM

haha well played

The overhead was less than I expected, works pretty good. Might even be able to speed it up with some image pre-loading.

And everyone thought it was all over but the joking....

BalefireX 07-12-2004 02:39 PM

Groth, it is a thing of beauty

pHaestus 07-12-2004 02:40 PM

ok that's even sweeter than before. You remain my hero :)

Groth 07-12-2004 02:47 PM

Not bad for the my first web page. Got a couple more ideas, too; but those'll require learning a little more java. ;)

HammerSandwich 07-12-2004 03:57 PM

Looking good, guys.

pHaestus 07-12-2004 04:01 PM

The only thing I can think of this as needing prior to release on the main site is a Procooling watermark on the graph backgrounds.. I'll definitely get it posted tonight

bigben2k 07-12-2004 07:40 PM

Very well done!

pHaestus 07-12-2004 09:06 PM

thanks again guys!

IT'S UP!

Groth 07-13-2004 02:44 AM

Decided not to put in a watermark?

One nice side effect for this thing: it makes life harder for the people who want to link your pictures into their sites.

BalefireX 07-13-2004 03:09 AM

4 Attachment(s)
well, you can still take a screenshot...
backgrounds with snowflake watermark?

Groth 07-13-2004 03:49 AM

True, a screenshot does the job. But then they have to use their own webspace and bandwidth, instead of leeching directly from ProCooling.

Oooh, snowflake-age!

Incoherent 07-13-2004 04:39 AM

Great work guys.

One thing though.
Is there any particular reason for keeping the temperature scale as it is, in graduations of 0.4C? Could it not be 0.2 or 0.5C? Just a little easier to read.
