Eh, same price at petsmart, physically bigger, and less head. Id consider it if it was substantially quieter.

I have never tried a mag 3, so i dont know about quietness.
But Eheim is know for being a quality pump, quite an important feature in PC cooling.

edit, nm its not the same price, I was looking at the 1046 =( its $71.99 compared to 44.99

AAH ok :) .
I always hearded well about the L30 also, cheap and powerfull, but against a mag 3? Dont know.

L30 has almost the same head as the Mag2 (6.5 - 6ft). the Mag3 has 10 :D Think I'll just get the Mag3 and reseal the o-ring and hope it lasts as long as some other's have.

It's the exact opposite of the outlet.
