Like the previous post, I have to question this. I cannot speak for units other than the 1000 and 4000, but they both do have a Shutdown Command in the debug menu, however this command does NOT shut the unit down. It accepts the command, but the unit never shuts off (I have tried it in both the 4000 and 1000). I have to assume this would be the case when trying to shut it down over the network from the UPS. So I am not so sure about that "any Snap unit" part of that statement.

Ditto on the 4100...it doesn't shut down.
