What rads cool water to 0*c ?
what rad can cool the water to 0 degrees celceius? i know big old levi can and the innovatrek dul rad can but what about black ice or dd supacube? anybpody know of others
|
No radiator can cool coolant to 0C unless the enviroment it is in is 0C, cooling below ambient is physically impossible. Radiators cool the water to as close to ambient as possible, this is their design, they radiate heat. In order to go below ambient you need TECs, Phase Change, LN2, etc. All of these methods employ a substance or device that is capable of producing temps below ambient.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
   youve been smoking to much weed |
if a glass of water was sitting in a 20C room... would it ever get below 20C let alont 0C?
NO then neither will a radiator. |
i have never heard of this levi rad
link me please passive cooling below ambient would drastically change the water cooling scene =) |

it's a caprice heatercore modded and painted up nice. It will fit 2x 120mm fans. |
i was reading toms site he said it was pretty close to 0* with duel rad he had the other one which looked like a supacube wasent able to reach that.
whats the closes rad to get to 0? |
Tom is a waste of life, and a moron, don't place any creedance in anything you read on his site.

A radiator, in theory, can only cool a fluid to a temperature of the ambient air that is being passed through it. Unless the air that is being forced through the radiator is at or below 0 C, then it is not possible. If it is cold out (22 F here), and you place your radiator outside, then it would be possible to cool the fluid to extremely low temperatures.

actually it's sublimation, not evaporation :D
|
there is no way that any radiator will cool water to below ambient. simple as that.
as for thg stuff, tom is a ****ing idiot, he is just a sellout giving blow job reviews to whoever pays him the most |

tom, lets say that he can't overclock the intel cpu because it will take pci and agp busses out of spec. then he says on the amd it is possible to change the multiplier to overclock, and keep pci and agp in spec. Then he leaves the multiplier at stock on the athlon and increases the fsb on it, completely ignoring what he just said about the p4
it is obvious amd paid him more than intel for that review |
the guy hung the rad outside his window when it was below zero outisde... thats only reason.

jääää all hate THG!

any radiator can get water temps below 0C if you use tom's method |
If it could cool down to 0K, I'd be impressed:evilaugh:
|
submerge it into N2 [L] would get it down quite much. but ZERO KELVIN would be almost impossible.
