What rads cool water to 0*c ?
 

what rad can cool the water to 0 degrees celceius? i know big old levi can and the innovatrek dul rad can but what about black ice or dd supacube? anybpody know of others

No radiator can cool coolant to 0C unless the enviroment it is in is 0C, cooling below ambient is physically impossible. Radiators cool the water to as close to ambient as possible, this is their design, they radiate heat. In order to go below ambient you need TECs, Phase Change, LN2, etc. All of these methods employ a substance or device that is capable of producing temps below ambient.

it's a caprice heatercore modded and painted up nice. It will fit 2x 120mm fans.

i was reading toms site he said it was pretty close to 0* with duel rad he had the other one which looked like a supacube wasent able to reach that.

whats the closes rad to get to 0?

Actually it would get a little bit below 20c, unless it's in vacuum..

A radiator, in theory, can only cool a fluid to a temperature of the ambient air that is being passed through it. Unless the air that is being forced through the radiator is at or below 0 C, then it is not possible. If it is cold out (22 F here), and you place your radiator outside, then it would be possible to cool the fluid to extremely low temperatures.

ok maybe ONLY due to evaporation.... then i revise that the glass of water is a BOTTLE of water with the cap on

there is no way that any radiator will cool water to below ambient. simple as that.

tom, lets say that he can't overclock the intel cpu because it will take pci and agp busses out of spec. then he says on the amd it is possible to change the multiplier to overclock, and keep pci and agp in spec. Then he leaves the multiplier at stock on the athlon and increases the fsb on it, completely ignoring what he just said about the p4


it is obvious amd paid him more than intel for that review

what i would be impressed of, is: if THG ever would write somehting that is correct, that is not "INTEL THE GREATEST" or totaly uninterresting.

it costed about 38$ and it is from an mercedes. bought it at an aout store... the guy who owns the stroe told me they sell like butter, and it was practicaly new. and just SO MUCH CHEAPER than an BIX or an Big momma.
other the same size costed about 29$ but they were used...

(btw, i only own one like it, not the one in the picture. i *stole* the pic from an website. but i got one that is exactly the same)
