Enjoy!

No need to criticise - I think it speaks for itself.

Back to beating the family then I guess.

The aquarius III got 10 gold medals, and the reserator got two?

free advertising,
but even so . . . . .

I would be sorely distressed were I to have to cataloge the factual errors in those reviews

fwiw, the Reserator is a big seller in Europe - attractive exterior design

I had to Whois the site just to make sure it wasn't Thermaltake owned propaganda

yes, one of the more bizzare aspects of this 'free advertising' system is what occurs when the reviewer becomes a fanboy

HAL-9000 07-30-2004 02:28 PM

Note when they rate a kit, it does well. When they rate a "real" waterblock like a Silverprop or a Antarctica all by itself, it does poorly. It seems they take stand-alone waterblocks and attach them up to Aquarius III plumbing...and then wonder why it does so poorly for the money!

BillA 07-30-2004 02:36 PM

a queer thought
what if procooling maintained a spreadsheet/table that listed reviewers/sites, and then showed a 'technical merit' score for each review (linking to the factors considered)
this is both positive, first; and then negative

I think, based on what has occurred in the last several weeks, that procooling could have an effect

The Internet WCing Reviewer's Hall of Fame and Shame

Not queer at all. It makes much more sense than most other ideas, but it may also take a LOT of time. If it got big enough with enough support (users, resellers and mfgs) it'd have a huge effect and would change a lot of things...

I'd hardly call the Reserator attractive (big piece of anodized aluminum... no thanks) but it does seem to satisfy the European watercooling incentive, being fan free and all.

That is an excellent idea but would likely cause problems, liars and idiots don't like their identities exposed.
