Wanna help me figure out a watercooling setup?

My current watercooling setup is aging and isn't compatible with the new A64 motherboards.

I currently have a completely 3/8" setup :(

BeCool Black Edge (Similar to Jagged Edge)
Ehiem 1250
140mm radiator with 3/8" barbs
DangerDen reservior

I'm looking at the following config:

1/2" system
Swiftech MCW6002 (not sure if this works well with the Ehiem 1250)
Ehiem 1250
New Radiator (perhaps one of those long ones for 2x120mm fans, suggestions?)
New Reservoir (suggestions? Bay? Cylindrical?)
Maybe a GPU block for a (hopefully) 6800GT

Thanks!

I would take the MCW6002, a MCP600 or MCP650, a Fedco 2-342 Heatercore, and any res you want. The 6800GT block isn't out yet.

I recently got my Ehiem to replace my second AquaVia 1300 because of their legendary reliability. I've been kinda wary of the MCP650. It looks more... puny and fragile than the Ehiem. Is it worth it to replace the Ehiem?

it is not as quiet, but it pumps more head and flow; reliable by mfgr's no.'s though not by long time w/c user experience (that honour by nature, can only go to long timer pumps), don't forget it has a warranty
look at the pump curve sticky
then make up your own mind, since 'worth' is subjective

hi
there is a 6800 block out ...
http://dangerden.com/mall2/more_block3.asp?fmmore=237

but its $124.95!!!???!!!!

also i think you can keep the eheim....

the block performs well even at lower flow rates, although the 650 would be nice especially if you have other restrictions in the loop.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm just going to stick with my Eheim and get the Swiftech GPU block with the 6800 adapter.

$124.95 for the DangerDen is definitely "holy sh@t" worthy. It looks so.... asymmetrical... kind of a weird design considering GPU blocks are square and symmetrical...
