D4 WITH jumper
I recently got my 3/4 barbed D4 from DD, and it HAS the jumper inserted in the back of the motor housing.
I wont have a chance to run it for a bit, and was just wondering if I may have received an old/loud D4. I know that the muffled D4 (especially the swifty) wont have the jumper.... I had contacted DD and requested the D4 that is slightly less noisy than the original, but not less powerful. In unfair words of another thread, the "second" revision. I AM making that revision thing up however !! (nikhsub, and BillA, you know what I am talking about with the rev thing) Does anybody have experience with the 3/4 barb version of the D4? Do I have the old loud version...I would rather not run it and exchange it if I do. SenC. |
With the jumper ON, the pump needs ~ 10V to start, with the jumper OFF, needs ~ 6v to start, that is the ONLY function of the jumper.
