Need help on flow direction check
 

HI, i finally got to the stage of leak testing my kit, but now i don't know if i have the right flow direction, and i can't see the flow direction, so i am wondering if there is a way to check it. Hope u guys will help me out.

Well, what pump do you have? What are the rest of the components? How is it plumbed? Have any pics?

I am using DangerDen 12v pump. double heatercore, round resv, 775 cpu block, my setup is Pump --> Cpu Block --> double heatercore --> resv --> back to pump. The pump doesn't say where is waterout, but it got a arrow pointing out, so i believe it is the outlet. Here is the link of my pump

I am putting it on the ground, same as the picture. I think the top is the waterout. Correct me if i am wrong . thx

I have now completed the leak testing 24hr, and now i have a problem, in my tube there are tiny bubbles, not a lot, just a little, how do i get rid of them? And also, near the nozzles and connecting spots there are tiny particales and kinda cloudy looking, should i empty the whole system and clean it ?? Hope u guys will help me out thx.

Air may be trapped in the radiator. You may need to move it around a little bit to get bubbles out.

Also: Time. Just wait and they should all go away.

Do i have to empty my system and clean out those cloud which looks like dirt and should i leave the top of my resv open so the air can go out??

You can If you want to. But If I were you I would make sure nothing is leaking first then do a performance test using sisoft or any other burn in utility to make sure the cpu is being cooled properly.

That cloud stuff won't affect the cooling, but It may look ugly after a while. Leaving the top of the res won't make a difference. Eventually the pump will circulate the bubbles out of there,.

I see, i am gonna need something with heavier color, because my coolant is very light colored, i can't really see on white papper that if there is anything leaking, probably UV dye, i am hoping to find one in local stores, anyone know where in CA, San Jose can i get it? IT seems like i can only find it online. and Then i can start installing it and see if it is working.

PS: Is 85% Distilled water and 15% Water Wetter okay for my system?? hope is not too much.

15% is a huge ammount, they recommend no more than 5%. For comparison Swiftech Hydrx mix is 6%.

I see, i gonna need to empty my wc system and make new mixture, does 15% damage my wc system bad? I will make a new mixture of 95% distilled water, 5% water wetter, and 1 or 2 drop of UV dye.

Not sure about damage, it would have a higher pH though.

In this article a 3% solution had a pH of 8.54, a 15% solution would probably have a pH greater than 10. Someone else might want to chime in on whether that is too high for a system or not.

I myself use tissue paper... if it get's wet I will see it..
and if it get's wet and dries there is still a noticable watermark on the tissue paper...

No. Having a mixture of 85/15 will not damage your system. Water wetter is highly concentrated. On the bottle it gives filling percentages and one of them is 50/50 water wetter to water, on a vehicle.

i think i will just need to Find UV dye and add them in, and leak test again. Anyone have any recomandation on where to get it??? or else i just gonna find random website to order from.
