Know anything about the Swiftech Rad 676
A litte while back I was reading the thread in which Cathar showed a nice 1" thick heatercore that would work nicely with a pair of 120mm Papst FGL's. I was wondering about the Swiftech Rad 676. How well does it perform? Has anyone used it and what is your experience with it? Thanks in advance to any and all.

in a Swiftech kit,

Great, so 2 mcr's would be better. BTW great work with the Swiftech product line. My next overhall (due in a couple of months) will be swiftech. Can I ask you one question about that though? With a goal of performance and low, low, low noise I am a bit confused as I have always been told that 1/2"ID is best but I see swiftech stuff is all geared towards 3/8". Is that because through your testing 3/8" with your quick connects is better than 1/2" with barbs or simply because 3/8" is viewed by the company as more mainsteam and will sell more units?

1/2" is kinda pointless unless the entire system is designed that way, and has a huge heat load - 500W ?
I'm designing and testing much larger systems than current CPU's output, and 3/8" is fine always more better things in the pipeline, stay tuned |
