Ambient vs. Core Temps

So I'm trying to figure out here if a 6C increase in ambient temp would cause a 10-15C increase in core temp. Any thoughts on this?

Uhh... Something horribly, horribly wrong.

I've found that the fans have a direct affect on this. At my house, I have an ambient temp of 19C and with my 120mm fans pulling through my rad, I get temps of 25C-32C. When they're off, it increase to 28C-34C. Here at the house I'm at now, ambient is 26C. I get temps of 29C-39C wth the fan blowing, and 35C-45C without. So, the temps increase even more with no fans when the ambient increases...
