Etacovda 11-12-2004 02:46 PM

"non moving vortex generator"

my, what a fancy name for a fan ;)

lolito_fr 11-12-2004 02:55 PM

A hairdryer without the fan? wow how does that work!? need to get me one of those
:dome:

Etacovda 11-12-2004 03:02 PM

lol, thought it was the distinctly fan-like device sitting on the intake there.

so its basically a pass-through?

lolito_fr 11-12-2004 03:29 PM

no, it a non moving vortex generator that will add up to 35 horsepower to your vehicle (superior quality)

:evilaugh:

LOL!

The Turbonator's airflow dynamics produces a swirling, fast-burn effect in the combustion chamber. This creates finer particles of atomized fuel, allowing better flame propagation and more complete combustion.
Darn 10 characters...

Delirious 11-12-2004 06:38 PM

Its all good till that fan starts sucking debris into the engine.

killernoodle 11-12-2004 07:33 PM

It isnt a fan, it doesnt move. Basically, it is stainless steel vanes that swirl the air (hahahah) in the air intake... Basically it is another thing to get sucked into the throttle body and the intake manifold.

psychofunk 11-12-2004 10:24 PM

I don't get it. Looks like a great deal. Hell add a "type R" sticker and you have 135 more horses for $85.............(in case you did'nt notice I'm rice bashing)

Much Much more like what I would want to try and suck in through a throttle boddy :D

I did not even catch the fact that it was not moving.(was laughing to much while reading that site, i guess :) ..... I really did think it was a Hair-Dryer like fan contraption....

lolito_fr 11-13-2004 03:13 AM

Hey, my moms' got one of those! I think they call it a vacuum cleaner
:dome:

Seriously though, think of all that extra restriction those stationary fan blades are gonna make    :D

the technology exists but not with that
MPG gains as high as 31%. It pays for itself in no time
