Peltier on a 9500
 
I have a ati 9500@500/600 and just bought a 5.5A/15.4 V pelt for 2 bucks on ebay, now my question is, is the pelt strong enough for the card at 2.0 V or should I rather use it for a can cooler?

PS: have no clue how much watt a 9500 has at idle....

Sounds like an 80W Pelt. I do not think you would notice any gains @ 2.0VDC. The question is, how many AMPS you are getting @ 2.0VDC.
Why not just plug the pelt into the 5Volt side of the PSU?
Finally, if you really want to use the Pelt to cool something, why not cool a beer? :D

Sorry I guess you misunderstood me, the 9500 is running at 2.0VDC not the pelt, the pelt is running at 12VDC/5.5A my question was since i have a overclock of 85%, the wattage is way higher so is a "80" watt pelt enough?


PS: The beer would be drunk too fast....
