best internal design for a pelt cooler

I want to make a sandwich pelt cooler.... 2 copper blocks with 2 pelts inside. The barbs will be on the side not the top. What kind of internal design is best suited for this?

For exmaple, lines running across, cups, pins, fins, etc?

probably a maze-like design to attempt and cover the large surface area.
Cups wouldt work good unless a lot of them are used in a really concentrated design.

Something like this?

Am not saying what technique it employs.

Aside from that, fine channels or pins do work very well though.

Clamp a pair of MCW6002s together? Lots and lots of surface area, cheap.
