desperate help needed

Hi before i start i want to point out that this pump WAS NOT ran dry

Its a AQX 50z

Upon filling the system, i filled my tline that was
just before the pump inlet, i made sure water went into the inlet, i started the pump and it spat the water a bit out of the outlet, so i stopped it, had a look to check all was good and filled with more water
I removed the front cover to reveal the impeller, had a play with it nothing was wrong there, the round metal ring that i presume spins upon powering is a bit stiff to turn, it turns in small increments when i move it by hand.

I put it back together again and it now rattles if i shake it, im
so pissed off iv left the room and come to the library for a break and
to find out the problem. (after a whole night trying to get even pressure and a good mount of my HL on a 6800gt)

Cheers for any help guys

I suspect that on this forum the only one who will touch this question is the importer/vendor of this pump
-> suggest you send Bruce at Cooltechnia an e-mail
