replacement danner housing
 

my housing just developed a crack that i cannot repair (without draining my system anyways), and it already has a crack on that inlet part.

anyhow, i figured someone here would know of a decent place to order replacement parts from (in the US please). the danner store seems to be down ATM, and i've only found this place so far. i would prefer the newer style housing. thanks all (yes i tried a forum search; too much crap to sift thru plus it's 3:30 am >_< )

Search google for something like "pondmaster mag drive" instead of Danner and you'll find a lot more results and information. All the pond/fountain guys seem to refer to the pumps by their more common Pondmaster name than the Danner label, even though they are the same thing.

Is this a typical problem with Danner pumps? Just wondering...(?)

It usually happens when you try to thread a metal barb on the inlet too tightly. It is thin there and prone to cracking. Using plastic barbs is much safer.
