LED Mod

4 Attachment(s)
after some research, I found blue LEDs run at 3.0-3.6 volts and if LEDs are run in series they distribute the voltage equally thoughout all LEDs.

so (4) LEDs per fan 12/4=3 Volts per LED

since my fans are all severly undervolted (5V) the LEDs do not light up.

To fix this I wired the LED group seperately to the 12V line and the lights are back on.

You're running them without a series resistor? If so, you're lucky you didn't burn anything out.
