Tygon Tubing

I found a place local that has Tygon R-3603 in 7/16 ID with a 1/16 wall. The wall isn't as thick as the S-50-HL tubing (with the same 7/16 ID), and the pressure rating is only 16psi (about 1/2 of what the S-50-HL tubing is). The part number of the usplastic site is 57118.

Would that be adequate for a watercooling rig with the following specs?

DD TDX
DD Maze4 GPU
DD D4 pump
BIX rad
(all with 1/2-inch fittings)

Given the wall thickness, would it be too susceptible to kinking? Is the working pressure (16psi) high enough?

16PSI rating is fine for water-cooling. 16PSI is ~11mH2O, and you would be doing rather well to find a pump that is delivering that much pressure in a running system.

The 1/16" wall thickness is of concern though. This is too thin and will kink with anything but a gentle curve unless you use some tubing sleeves.

Ahh okay. It's amazing how 1/32 of an inch could make that much difference where kinking is concerned.

I'd prefer to view as an extra 50% thickness, then it puts it into perspective.
