foaming in coolant loop
I'm getting enough foam in the top of my reservoir that it keeps getting sucked around. Actually I haven't noticed much change in cpu temp, but it's got to be there.
I'm running 3/7 conventional glycol/distilled water. Nothing goofey about my loop except it's copper/aluminum. I would have guessed that automotive antifreeze would already have an anti-foaming agent. Do I need to add more? |
Same thing happen when you just run a T line instead of a Res? Or maybe tilt the rest on its butt so the barbs are all on the bottom?

After my last refill and tubing change I had what I equate to beer foam in my loop with a "T" for nearly three weeks. Then one day it all went away I didnt chage or manipulate my loop it cleared on its own.
