Making a resivor and radiator
 

I plan on making a resivor and radiator. Any ideas how.

like the reserator you mean?

Do you mean a res/rad combo like the reserator or an individual rad and individual res?

I think it'd be really hard to actually make a radiator. As for the reservoir, it is possible provided you have the material and tools

No, that would be a reservoir. Radiators have fins and tubes. Look it up on google.

Resevoirs are as easy as taking a piece of pvc pipe with 2 endcaps and putting 2 barbs in it. Though you could make it in other ways, maybe involving acrylic and caulk. Pretty simple from my perspective. But to make it look elegant is another thing.

Good luck making a Rad. I've offered suggestions before but they have been fruitless. Modify a heater core, put a car rad on the side of your case, buy a BIP. Whatever. Fabing one on you own is something that really isn't worth your time.

Reserviors are much easier. Give us some ideas as to where you want it to be in your case and we can give you an idea of how to make one.

Id start at www.tapplastics.com, great selection of acryic to make a res out of, as well as the solvents to bond it togeather. I actually made a res today with that stuff that I havnt posted on yet, maybe ill get working on that finally.

As for a radiator youll be hard pressed to build one. I started on a project using a section from a brass car rad thinking I could build and braze on some tanks. Never did attempt to finish it though.
