TDX Socket A to A64 Conversion
I'm just about to swop from an Socket A TDX to an A64 TDX by switching the tops. I have the mounting hardware for the Soc A version but I just want to check a couple of things.
From looking at websites etc, I assume I need to remove the plastic socket around the CPU but retain the backplate to screw the studs into. Is that correct? Also, for an Soc A you screw the brass thumbscrews down until the spring is compressed to 10mm, is that the same for the A64 TDX? Cheers T |
No one knows?? Well for info I mailed DD and what I assumed above is correct. :) Just in case anyone else is about to do it!!
