Power for 118wat TEC

What kind of PS would I need to run just one 118 watt tec and a few fans? Would a 250watt work? Less?

A 250W ps can put out about 12A at 12V so you should be fine for a single 118W peltier (which needs about 7.5A) and some fans which need almost nothing.

well if you were thinking of using one psu for your system plus the pelt i wouldnt go lower than 350w, but a single 250w dedicated for that pelt and the fans should be plenty of power.

i ran a 156w plet off my enermax 530w psu for about 2 months w/o any problmes... gotten rid of it since for other reasons tho
