Hi ...I was wondering if you could help evaluate this setup and let me know how I can better my efforts. I'm not so worried about the cost as I am the performance but I do have limits. I am also designing a wooden case around this.

Anyway here goes ...

G4 cpu block
1/2" ID tubing
BIX3 + 3 x evercool 85cfm
c-systems MAG's
"T" line for fill & plug
fluidxp+

I really like the MAG and I'll be inquiring as to how many it will take to get adequate flow. Also, I don't know enough about the weapon core so if anyone would care to enlighten me.
And lastly ...what can I do about a shroud? I've never worked with sheet aluminum enough to weld it. Perhaps some shroud theory might help. What would get me the best performance.

One, you can try two, but I do not think you will find much improvement.

I often get email from people upset because they added one or even two more pumps and did not see much improvement (about 0.5 C avg).

The real sad part, is they sometimes get yet another pump of a different brand, and again see no difference.

If cost isn't an issue, I'd recommend getting better fans. Papst or Panaflo is more like if for a good quality setup, though there are others.

I actually think that those fans are a very good choice. Great noise/performance ratio, and very strong.

Better performance for overclocking? If you want better performance you can use peltiers@9V. At lower voltages peltiers are far more efficient than at high voltage.

I've been experimenting with various dual MAG setups and you're absolutely dead on about the performance. As you probably know I have 2 MAGs and 1 750. I'll probably use them in seperate loops for cpu & gpu. The 750 I'll keep as a spare because it is in perfect shape except for a few dings ...it just doesn't perform as well as the MAGs.

Do the fluidxp magnums perform much better than the dtek mags when running fluidxp or is the performance negligible?

Fluid XP voids C-Systems MAG warranty, unless you use a FluidXP model, and you can find them on there WEB site.

XP model has different impeller and coils for the higher loading.
