This is exactly the rad I have been waiting for to come out on the market. An 80mm with inlet top outlet bottom. And only $25? |
Great price eh? I think I'm going to pick up a couple for a Lian Li 6070. It will fit the front intakes perfectly. I'm curious to see what the performance is like.
Off topic, I've had an idea for a while and wanted to see what you guys think. Imagine an 8cm rad shrouded so that a 9cm or 12cm fan is sucking air through it. I'm thinking that the increased pressure of the larger fan would improve the performance without adding extra noise. This is kinda of the exact opposite idea that Cather had when he came up with the perameters for what is now the PA160. |
They have some good performance numbers posted there. At 35.3CFM it will disapate almost 150watts at 1GPM if I am reading the graphs right. That is pretty good. If you do your 92mm/120mm mod and get a few more CFM through the thing it should be even better.

I'd like to know how much of the rads thickness is core and how much of it is shroud (it appears that there is a gap between the core and the mounting point for the fan). I think this rad will turn out to be a big seller, as most people still have 8cm holes in their cases and few are willing to mod.
