Ammeter/Voltmeter installation

Hi to all :)

I was wondering if i could simply fit an ammeter in series with my pelt supply and fit a voltmeter across my pelt supply to give me monitoring of my pelt setup when i switch it on so as to assure me of a bit of security in the system.

Is this too simplistic?

Thanx in advance ;)

If the ammeter and voltmeter are suitably rated that'll work fine.

I forgot to mention that the supply is a dedicated PSU not the ATX supply. And thanx for the reply :)

Geez... I wish I knew what this electrical stuff was. I can only hope they teach me this in electrical engineering classes.

Never took physics... I took A.P. Spanish instead. And this year I don't get to take College physics til 3rd quarter, because I'm taking Spanish classes next quarter instead (Spanish Minor).

Physics rules on spanish :)

An electrical engineering major with a spanish eats physics for breakfast... not to mention in two languages! :)
