Having some fun with my DLP ;)
Had the Optoma H31 for about 8 months now, and never hooked it up to the PC (yeah I'm lazy).
But my good ol' CTX 19inch Radiation King CRT is about to go to the grave (currently can only run 800x600 without it blinking out  ), so while I wait for my new monitor I decided to play around with the DLP and take some pics :) The Optoma H31 http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/7098/dlpa3mp.th.jpg Ghost in the Shell 2 http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/8931/dlpb2sh.th.jpg Dusk Graphics Demo http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/4515/dlpc12yp.th.jpg http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/9694/dlpc20ub.th.jpg Stills http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/8934/dlpd19rp.th.jpg http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/5588/dlpd20om.th.jpg Keep in mind these shots are all on a screen that's nearly 80inches diag  If you look real closely you can see my ghetto thumb-tack job on the screen. Boy do I need a real screen....and a house to put it in :[] oh and >:[ on jpg compression |
Re: Having some fun with my DLP ;)
Very vibrant image there. I've just bought a SharpVision XV-Z200E for myself and using a white Ikea blind as a screen!
Would like a Stewart Screen though, those GrayHawk/FireHawk screens look mighty tempting... :p |
Re: Having some fun with my DLP ;)
Looks nice, but can I afford something like that? When they come down to $300 I might think about it, but I suspect something like that is like $1k-2k.
