would've voted very interested, but the chewbacca option took the cake.
DO IT DO IT DO IT!!! we need something like this, it'd be oh so useful for the greater community (provided we could keep disinformation out).

I'm all for it. I think it would simplify the user experience, for someone that's getting started.

Which is to say that I am a damned slacker, and "tomorrow" in the post above means that it's ready for the hordes just about now. You can log in with your forum login/pass.

Ice can you get it so when people want to create an account they are sent to the "register" page on the forums? so we dont end up with 2 different user databases?

and Media Wiki supports image uploading, and notes I believe.

BTW thanks for getting the wiki up ice!

Re: You Interested in a PC Cooling Wiki?

Image uploading is available through the "Upload file" link in the left hand toolbox.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean with "notes", but every page has an associated "talk" page where the contents can be discussed etc.

Re: You Interested in a PC Cooling Wiki?

i meant notes associated with image uploading,
not notes about the pictures but any particularity in displaying or uploading,
if its any different from the Wiki base. :)
i've already tested it, thanks.

Re: You Interested in a PC Cooling Wiki?

No, the image uploading works like it does in every mediawiki install, you can upload images, "edit" them regularly for the image notes, and there's also an attached talk page to every file.

I think it would be a great ide as long as people are moderately checking the inf0o for integrity.
