Re: How Manufacturers Test Heatsinks & Thermal Compound

this is a description of testing by the big boys
if none give a shit then jd is correct, this (site) activity is pointless

I do not understand why there was ever any debate, the facts were known.
Nor do I understand why some are unwilling to assimilate info.
Denial is not the road to progress.

I will distill it to two lines:
the TTV is NOT a "flawed" test methodology, therefore
the IHS temp can be measured accurately and reliably

this uproar was created by one individual who STILL is unable to recant (as he does not wish to do so w/o a negative proof, Intel is no assurance)

you are most certainly correct, "whats the point in arguing if you're always wrong"
too bad the discussion first (learning) was skipped in favor of argumentation and personal impugnment by those having no experience

Don't overgeneralize please, Bill. You just jumped all over JD for doing the same in saying no one wants to design a cooling system.

that was a troll, intentionally

that article is heads and sholders above what procooling does
they went somewhere, spoke to people, took photos, did some 'analysis'

and the experts here did what ?
why have I been raising hell ?
