Mixing Metals...
I'm curious about what types of metals can be used in a WC setup. I know that Copper and Aluminum are a bad combination if you don't take some serious precautions, but what combinations of metals can be used without turning your WC setup into a Battery or having it eat itself from the inside out? Is Copper and Stainless Steel ok for example? Thanks for the help guys.

You can mix brass and copper with no trouble at all. |
Re: Mixing Metals...
i dont think you would have trouble mixing ss and copper but ss is heavy so its not really a good choice and definitly copper and brass is a good mix

Re: Mixing Metals...
I was asking about the Stainless, because I have been considering running a Watercooling setup for some time and I keep tossing around the idea of using SS hard lines with AN Fittings. The tricky part is the fact that the fittings are anodised Aluminum. I like the look that hard lines have when used in cars and trucks. This is by no means set in stone. It's just an idea that I have been toying with and having lurked here for some time I know that this is the best place to ask a question like this.
