any1 know whatz up with the Swiftech Storm backorders? I know I can get 1 from Swiftech but is there a REASON that every1 is out of them?? Did Swiftech get the rights 4 the G5 from Cathos & disco the G4 or something??

I hope they're not dumping it 4 the Apogee...:doh:

OR any1 know how I can buy a G5? :evilaugh:

I c a lot of people who want 1 (or a G7 :drool: ) but I haven't seen an answer as 2 where the heck u can get 1!

According to the main thread covering "G" series on another forum, G5s are out of production. G7 pre-orders are going in, but production will be limited to ~37 units! Price? Just short of $300.

According to the Swiftech website, you can now order a rev.2 storm. Between the original "surge" in buying, then lull in sales; coupled with letting stock go for revisions... many e-tailers have just stopped stocking it. Your best bet for the Swiftech one is probably going to be them, or one of their major partners. If you want a G5, your going to have to look hard for someone selling theirs (rare, though maybe one of the lucky G7 owners?).

Ah, so he has increased his manufacturing amount in the last few weeks! Must be the response was over-whelming!
