R-12 TXV but only have R-290!
Ok here's the problem I scored a 2ton and a 1/2 ton R-12 TXV I want to use R-290, but I am thinking this won't work, but I'm not shure hence why I'm asking!
If this dosn't work I intend on using a 80/20 mix of R-134a & R-290 this will allow me to use the R-12 TXVs with the R-134a and use Minerol oil thanks to the R-290 and get some ok temps while at it. But naturaly if I can get away with using pur R-290 it will make every thing much easier. This is NOT for a computer system, this is a A/C unit I am building so please spar me all the computer related stufe (Been there don it, but I like water it's more then enough) I know thee's questions go off the deep end if allowed to so I figured I'd pre-emptivly stop that.... Any help will be greatly apreciated.. |

I'm sure s few people here have experience with compressors but some other forums have guys with tons of experience building phase change coolers with compressors and blending.
