new system: advice on w/c components

first, kudos to Etacovda for great advice, love my new machine

asus a8n-e
AMD64-3700
2gb corsair
eVGA 7800GT

upgraded from:
abit ic7-g
P4 3.2
1gb geil
ati 9800pro

unfortunately all my old water blocks are incompatible w/ the current sys

i have:
1/2" DD TDX (p4 mount)
1/2" DD maze4 GPU (2 hole mount)
3/8" swiftech MCW6000 (socket A (clips) mount)

ideas:

new tops for the tdx (brass) and maze4 (Acetal)
$53+shipping

or

MCW6000 w/ new mounting kit and new top 3/8" maze4 (Acetal)
$35+shipping

or

MCW60-B and Apogee
$80+shipping

in all scenarios i will need to get some ramsinks $10-20
thoughts:
never liked the maze4, i always thought it looked overly restrictive
i don't like that neoprene gasket for the nozzle in the tdx - i'm always afraid it will shift and kill my temps

so:

other than the copper filings in the Apogee what do people think of it?
is it worth watercooling the 7800gt?
what about the NB? damn thing has a fan, i hate fans
don't know how loud it is yet because there are 14 fans in the system - once i've watercooled the system, the case fans will be run at min voltage as will the fans on the rads

thanks for reading

jman

Search apogee vs storm you'll find out. Its okay but not amazing

7900gt waterblock, depends what your after porbably wont give you a higher oc but will make your case cooler and keep noise down

Big passive sink is normally better for NB but its personal preference as the fans wont be able to push enough air.

Personally i normally go for the cheapest options.

Dont need 14fans in a computer case.

Careful with min fans on rad and high water flow rates.
