Cold Climate Cooling

Hey all, I've been doing a lot of reading on TEC's lately with a project in mind... specifically, I want to put a heatercore outside my window, out in the cold at around -20c, and pump sub-zero antifreeze through my waterblock.

I haven't been able to find any fans for the rad that will operate at -20... but supposing the ambient stays at -20, is anyone here capable of calculating the optimal TEC power for the following passive system?

I have an Athlon xp 1900+, and I will be using the dd maze 2.1 (or 2.2 if that is better) with something like that dd heatercore.

Anyone game?

XP 1900+ runs at 68W stock (source: AMD data sheet), as for optimal TEC power, depends what you want to do with the TEC. They don't work amazing well at low temps so you could just run the water straight.

I tend to agree with Butcher: I see little point in using a Peltier when you could easily get the CPU to below freezing without one.
