cooling the water with petiler ?

what do you guys think about cooling the water in the cooling system with petiler instead of a readiator. Just to make a copper block size 1.5"x6.2" with a maze for the water to get trough and use 4 petilers to cool the copper block? bye |
You need to do a lot of things. First of all, you neeed to insulate the chilling blocks very well. Next, you need to MAXIMIZE H2O surface area. Try to slow the flow through the chiller blocks too. Like have dual blocks and have the water split into separate blocks and then get chilled seperately and then go back together. If you just run the water straight through, you'll get this.

i think it would be much better to use a radiator to cool the water back to near ambient b4 it gets chilled with the pelts. i have heard of peeps that have got overheating cpu's because the pelts couldnt take out enuff heat.. better to use a radiator as well so the pelts could just act like a "booster". also what power pelts were u thinking of using?

as a general rule pelt-water chillers work very poorly, if you want to do it the best way, use a compressor from a fridge or freezer.

Even if i did like pinkster said? to cool the hot side of the peltier with the water from the system and then out to the radiator to cool the water down and then to the coold side of the peltier?
And how would i do if i use a compressor? Best regardes lymmen |
